We teamed up in both marriage and Cardinal Ranch almost 30 years ago. While many things have changed, what has remained the same is that our personal and professional pursuits in the world of training horses, teaching horsemanship, and ranching have always provided opportunities for us to grow. Perhaps the most significant learning has been around how our relationships with horses can teach us about our relationships with ourselves, God and others. This has increasingly shaped how we prioritize our time, knowledge and resources.  I (Devanee) recently finished a Master's in Counseling Psychology which has furthered my interest in how healing hearts can be facilitated through interactions with horses and a grace based encounters with others. Buddy's teaching, offers the "get it done with a little fun" that builds shared experiences of joy on the ranch. Together, we continue to teach, run a ranch, and build relationships. If it sounds busy, it is! However, it is also a privilege to navigate life where our faith, passions, and business collide with God's love, grace, and provision.
